Y found “Y” shaped fork for the first time ever on our morning stroll today. She loved it. She brought it everywhere. Showed it to everyone. She shouted the letter “Y” sound and “yacht, yacht, yacht” the whole morning. She tested the “Y” fork by pushing it against every poles and trees she met along the way.

With an active 2.5 years old like Y, a collection doesn’t always last long before it was broken or gone. To luck, the stick survived the trip until we’re home. I asked her permission to make a slingshot. She said “okay” without knowing what a slingshot was before. She was just looking while asking “Wats dat?” over and over again until I was done making a simple slingshot using just the stick and a handful of rubber bands.

I brought a handful of dried pasta and used it to substitute pebbles as projectiles so that it wouldn’t cause harm.

She was surprised that we could use it as a launching devise. It was so much fun!

“Pull, pull, pull... ready, set, go... whiiiiiiiy!”
