Before Y was born, little I still could recall from my childhood’s nursery rhymes. Now there’s no day without her singing adorably and dancing to any rhymes.

One particular song has always been a big hit: Wheels on the Bus. I used to sing it to her while doing house chores and did my silly version of this song’s movement. When she was a baby, Y did enjoy hearing songs that are familiar to her in some way and Wheels On The Bus is truly a familiar song that is loved for this very reason.

We always have great fun with this song.

As we all know, the lyrics are words that belong to an action song. It has unique rhymes with sing-song phrases that go along with movements.

It’s more than just a song too. The song thas been a bridge to socialize in a fun way with other kids in more than one occasion while we’re outside. It’s a special way for kids to have fun together and individually as well. She did the hand motions long before she was able to sing it. This is the first song she master with complete lyrics, all simply because she loves it so much

She painted it, let it dry and has been playing while singing the rhymes with her little wooden animals and hand motions.

The fact that she can open and shut all door and windows escalated her fun even more.

We’re so grateful for this song. No one knows how many hours we’ve spent (and will be) in jolly fun singing and dancing with it. I don’t know the author to say thanks to, but for sure these two prompts are great platform to convey our gratitude.

So, here’s our Wheel on the Bus!
