Kiddos love to ooze and squish things and so this type of painting is perfect for them, no matter what their age. It teaches them about basic symmetry and colour. We did squish painting that teaches symmetry today.

Materials:
-moth shaped paper and a few additional papers in case needed
-paints
-spoon or q-tips
Instruction:
-Take a sheet of paper and fold it in half.

-Paint just one side of the paper using spoon or q-tips.

-Fold the paper over and squish it down.

She loved mixing the colors together to make new paint colors on the upside-down lid container.

She dipped the spoon in one paint, lifted it up, dipped in second paint, lifted it up, dipped in the third paint and transferred those mixed colors on the paper.

We prepared lots and lots of paper because toddler won’t last to paint just one sheet of paper.
