Squeeze Squeeze Squeeze

(Open ended play)

Welcome to our squeeze theme. We did lots of fun activities to strengthen those little hands.

It began with real halved lime, failed successfully after only two struggled squezze.

Those limes were too hard for her to squezze with.

She even tried using both hands to no avail.

It was followed by making a “grape juice.”

She needed to squeeze a bottle with blue colored water inside. The red colored water inside the bin then could be gradually changed to her favorite grape color (purple).

She had so much fun transferring water by soaking and squeezing the yellow sponge into the empty bin on her left. This one was a success.

She asked for more play after her nap time, so I prepared the same activity like the second one: squeeze a bottle and sponge transfer, with added slices of lime.

It was another big hit.
