(Craft)

Any time we use the hole punch, I love all those tiny little circles that come out!  For this Paper Punch Sprinkle Tree, we put them to good use, turning them into leaves for our tree.

Materials:

-a paper

-hole punch

-dried leaves

-crayon

-glue

-a spice jar

Instructions:

-punch holes in the dried leaves. Make lots and lots of holes - let your kids help you if they can squeeze down the hole punch! Gather the little circles.

-draw a tree trunk and branches on the paper. If your kiddo is as young as mine and still unable to draw herself, you could draw for them.

-prepare the materials on the tray and present it to your kiddo

-ask them to add glue around the branches

-ask them to sprinkle the dried leaves circles

Y loved sprinkle so much. We have done so many different kinds of things to sprinkle: spices, sands, and now paper punch!

She directly dug into the pile of circles, grabbed them and made another pile on the center of the tree drawing. Then she took the glue, added some around the tree branches. She took small pinches of the paper circles and sprinkle the "leaves" onto the tree. Some would stick to the glue. Others would come off when we shook the paper. The result was better than what I imagined. There were also times when she throw the circles. So much fun!!!
