Toddlers love to collect things. They also love to paint, gets messy and explore textures. This is a great invitation to play with toddler.

Materials:
-1 leaf
-2 homemade salt flour paint colors
(1/4 cup salt, 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup water, mix together, divide and add a few drops of food coloring)
-silicon brush
-paper
-tray
Instruction:
-present the materials
-position the leaf on a paper
-hold the leaf using one hand. Paint and add other color while working around it using the brush on another hand
-once complete, gently peal the leaf away to reveal the silhouette
-let your toddler explore for more
Y chose to turn around the leaf and stamp it on the paper. Her hands was covered with paint in the process. Curiously, she stamped her own hand onto the paper. Voila!
Y can play this for 15-20 minutes. That is a long time for toddler. Make sure plenty supply of blank paper however for continuous exploration.
