The coolest dinosaur activity EVER said every dinosaur loving kid out there! With this fizzy dinosaur theme science activity, kids can hatch out their favorite dinosaurs!

We used a Thomas and friends’ volcanic mountain, vinegar on re-used glass jar lids as lava, Lego Duplo’s dino as mummy dinosaur, re-used onion net bags as nest, colored frozen baking soda paste shaped in a re-used Kinder Joy eggshell and featuring a tiny baby dinosaur inside the egg.

Do your kids love Kinder Joy egg like ours do? Well, this project finally can put that egg to a good use. She was surprised to find something else (baking soda paste) instead of chocolate.

She opened the other egg shell and yet another colored baking soda paste was there. ”Egg,” she said.

Seeing the chemical reaction was a hit with our 2.5 years old Y and even the parent got all excited as we could see bits of our dinosaurs coming out.

She especially loved trying to guess which dinosaur it was while it was slowly being revealed.

Once hatched she gave the dinosaur a little extra cleaning.

Mummy dinosaur was reunited with baby dinosaur, at last.
