Footprints on the Beach

As Y was walking in the sand towards the sea, I noticed the temporary nature of the footprints I saw in the sand.  Some left deep indentions while others barely showed up on the surface. No matter what, they were all washed away when a large wave came.

Doesn’t it quite like our lives?
