(Open ended play)

Y had lots of dried leaves collection again from our morning stroll. We decided to use a hole puncher to these leaves and made lots lots of tiny circles.

Both of those leaves with holes and tiny circles did make a great sensory play for her.

I gave her a tray to minimize the mess and an empty spice jar to play with and it took her forever to pinch each tiny circle, transfer it into the jar, close the lid and pour them out.

She did it one by one while counting and repeat.

I was meant to prepare those tiny circles for other activity but even them as they are already gave her so much fun.

I just realized from sharing this that my daughter’s little chubby hands looks so big in comparison those tiny leaf circles.
