(Open ended play)

Simple things with a toy truck, water and ball of cocoa clay invite pure imagination of a toddler.

Y stroked, poured, squeezed, mixed, mashed, loaded, and unloaded the mud for an hour long. What a fun sensory play to play with.

Y began by pouring water from glass jar onto the clay ball.

She touched the ball and stroked it several time with her fingertips.

Suddenly she decided to press her palm against the clay and rather amused with her own handprint she left for a bit.

She took her time to squeeze and dilute her clay. Slowly yet surely it was turned into mud with bits of clot here and there.

Afterwards, it’s truck time. She loved those clots a lot. She would sweep the tray to find them with her bare hands, pick and transfer them to the back of her truck.

The feelings of that clot dripping slowly from her fingertips must be so amazing since she savor every moment of it. Loading and unloading her truck then became her most favorite things.
