(Craft)

Did you remember the egg we paint earlier using sponge? We let it dry overnight. The next day we upgraded it to the next level.

Materials:

-2 bunny ears (white on any colored construction paper of your choice)

-1 bunny nose set: nose and 6 whiskers (any colored construction paper of your choice)

-1 pair of googly eyes

-glue

-black marker

-egg paper cut (we repurposed further an egg from previous egg sponge painting project)

Instruction:

-glue the bunny ears to the back top right-left of the egg

-glue the googly eyes

-glue the nose set

-draw the bunny mouse using black marker

I prepared more than what was listed on materials above to give choices for Y. Young children loves to feel independent. The fact that can have what they have in mind bring confidence greatly to them. I began by asking “Which color of bunny would you like to make? The pink one or blue?” She said, “Blue!” So blue it was.

I handed over to her an example of finished bunny which was already previously prepared. Young children does best by immitation. She could see the example, compare it with her unfinished one, and try to put things together in the right (if not) similar to the pre-made one.

After she glued the bunny ears, I asked again, “Which googly eyes pairs would you like to add to your bunny. Purple or yellow?” She said, “Purple” while grabing the pair of yellow googly eyes from my palm.
