We decided to make cute little cartoon fingerprint bees today. We also used some of my leftover bubble wrap to make the little beehive! They turned out better than I thought for even a 2.5 years old.

Material:
-paper
-yellow paint
-orange paint
-bubble wrap
-black marker
Instruction:
-paint one side of a bubble wrap with orange color and stamp it on a paper to make the hive
-ask your toddler to dab his/her thumb in the yellow paint and stamp it around the hive for as much as he/she like
-help to draw bee(s) using black marker
We kept our kiddo busy as a bee with this bee hive artwork. Y needed to stamp the beehive in the middle of her art paper using bubble wraps. She then finger printed some honey bees around the bee hive and we added the black lines and wings on the bees once the paint has dried up.
I may be biased, but the end product looks quite nice.
Y totally loves bees. She kept on shouting the words “bee” whole morning and every time she saw this bee hive artwork. Ah actually, she’d shout the word “bee” every time she saw any yellow thing after this project!
